The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the 46th BCS notification on 30 November 2024. The BCS application is open until December 31. The application starts from December 10, which lasts until December 31. According to the 46 BCS exam notification, there are a total of 3,140 vacancies across various cadres. Generally BPSC takes BCS examinations in three phases- Preliminary, Written and Viva Voce. The applicants who qualify in the preliminary test, have to sit for written test. And applicants who qualify in the written exams, have to face viva voce.

In the preliminary test, examinees had to answer 200 MCQ questions in two hours. Each correct answer add a mark while 0.50 marks was be deducted from the total for each incorrect answer.
